Atlanta Helicopter Pilots Association Mission Statement
To promote safety within the helicopter flying community specifically, and within the greater aviation community as a whole.
In order to achieve this, we will work to
increase the operational knowledge and standardization of procedures among
pilots, and aircrews operating in the Atlanta area.
We will further strive to
help inform our fixed wing counterparts and the public as to the benefits and
limitations of our aircraft. We will work diligently to foster understanding
between all types of aviation and whenever possible, to be of assistance to our
community.
In addition, We will encourage those interested in joining our ranks
in any capacity, and conduct our flight operations in a manner that will reflect
positively on each of us and on our chosen form of flight.
